Alejandra Barciela

Associate Director, Customer Training, Wiley

Alejandra Barciela is an Associate Director, Customer Trainingfor John Wiley and Sons. She currently manages the global training program for Wiley Research. Previously, she worked as a Product Manager for the Wiley Researcher Academy, and Marketing Manager for Author Marketing. During her 10 years at Wiley, Alejandra also worked as an editor and project manager for textbooks and online courses. Alejandra is based in New York City. Before moving to the United States, she worked as a translator, teacher, and arts writer in Spain, where she earned a degree in Sworn Translation and Interpreting Studies from the University of Alicante, after completing courses in Medicine and spending a semester in the University of Aberdeen studying International Politics. She has completed studies in New York University and Pratt Institute in Agile Management and Design.
